When is the park open?
The 2009 season starts on 3rd April and will end on 1st November 2009. Hollywood in Germany opens at 10 am. You have to say goodbye at different times in the evening depending on the season.
Please note, that Movie Park Germany will not be open on some workdays during low season. You may find the detailed opening hours here: Opening hours
Why was the name of the park changed to Movie Park Germany?
Warner Bros. Movie World belonged to the American company Six Flags until April 2004, which, along with many parks in Europe and America also owned the licensing rights to the names Warner Bros. and the well known figures like Batman and Bugs Bunny. The sale of the parks to the British investment firm Palamon Capital Partners did not include the rights to the names and Loony Tunes. For these reasons, the Film and Entertainment Park reopened in March 2005 under the name Movie Park Germany.
What special offers are there for disabled guests?
Because not all of our attractions are completely accessible for our disabled guests, we offer them a price reduction. Further information is available in the section on entry fees. All restaurants, shops, and shows are completely wheelchair accessible. At some rides, guests with physical disabilities will be helped with entry and exit; other rides are not suitable for wheelchair users for safety reasons. Detailed information for disabled guests can be found under "Handicapped visitors”.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Unfortunately not. Dogs may not come along into Movie Park Germany. However, you can leave your pet at our dog hotel, where it will be very well cared for. Please register ahead of time in the main season. The supervision incl. food is exempt from charges.
